PMP® Certification Preparation

The Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) is recognized by organizations around the world as evidence of an accomplished level of knowledge and experience in project management. - PM Essentials (3-day Course)
The foundation of what every project manager needs to know in order to successfully manage projects is presented in this three-day course. PM Essentials covers the basic concepts of the five fundamental project management processes, defining requirements, schedules, risk management, and change control. Participants gain an understanding of how the project management processes are used during each phase of a project to build a better, more effective project plan.
- PM Professional Online Learning Training (Online)
PM Professional Online Training is an affordable, self-paced online program focused on meeting a full spectrum of project management learning needs. The program is designed to reinforce the fundamental principles of project management and help prepare learners for the PMP certification examinations. This flexible learning tool can also be used as a refresher program for those who need to earn self-directed learning hours toward PMP certification.
- PMP® Application Workshop
During this workshop, candidates are guided through completing their own application for taking the PMP Certification Examination. The workshop instructor will be available to answer individual questions and provide advice on commonly misinterpreted sections of the application itself. Workshop participants will also receive a PMP Study Guide that shares study strategies, approaches, and resources collected from thousands of APMA participants over the last years that have successfully passed the exam.
- PMP® Exam Review (2-day Course)
This course covers each of the nine bodies of knowledge, plus the PMP’s Professional and Social Responsibilities, and the five process groups covered in the PMBOK® Guide. Through lectures, practice exams, and practical exercises, participants will focus on key concepts, terms, and principles necessary for successfully passing the PMP exam. In addition, participants will become familiar with the format and makeup of the exam. It is recommended that this program be taken within a few weeks of sitting for the exam to maximize the effectiveness and recall of the course.

PRINCE2™ Foundation and Practitioner
Pre-course preporation: 10 days
Course Duration: 5 days
The PRINCE2™ Foundation and Practitioner course will focus on equipping the Delegate with a detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2™ method including the eight processes, eight components and three techniques central to running a project using the PRINCE2™ method. The successful completion of the Foundation & Practitioner Exam will give the Delegate a recognised Practitioner qualification. This course lays a firm grounding for the Delegate to apply the PRINCE2™ method to projects in the work place.

- Defining a project and the basic components making a up a project
- Identifying common projects problems and how PRINCE2™ can overcome these
PRINCE2™ Process Model
- An overview of the 8 processes which form the foundation of the PRINCE2™ method
- How processes are used in the lifecycle of a project
Components
- An overview of the 8 components of the PRINCE2™ method and how each component supports Project, Risk and Quality Management
Techniques
- A description of Product Based Planning, Quality Review and also Change Control illustrating their practical use
Exam Preparation
- Review of exam questions, mapped against key areas of the PRINCE2™ manual. There is also an approach mock exam practice marked by the trainer

Course Structure
- Suggested 15 hours of pre-course preparation
- 5 day Course
- 1 hour multiple choice, closed book Foundation exam on the third day, 3 hour open book Practitioner Exam on the 5th day
