APMA is newly registered professional association in Republic of Armenia and running on self sustainable basis. We are requesting funding for promoting and developing professional services for our members to be able to provide high quality products and stimulate development of not only IT but all other sectors which is in deep need of Project Management skills. Specifically we are planning to get membership of International Project Management Association plus make alliances with Project Management Institute and UK Association for Project Management. Also the scope of this proposed project should include translation and publication of some documentation required for development of professional association. First of all we are require to publish all professional documentation such as Body of Knowledge produced by our team of professionals based on PMI body of knowledge and IPMA standards. This will be main materials for our members to get more familiar with Project Management in general and some models which could be implemented in Armenia. Then we will produce special Code of conduct and promote it in IT and Constriction companies to make them know the professional responsibility of Project Managers. Our original plan is to establish small networked community which could collaborate within it with all online tools and in the scope of whole project we wish also to include development and promotion of corporate web system with possibilities to provide social networking for organization members. Within that web site we are going to establish digital library of big variety of books starting from all main books in Project Management finishing with programming and engineering. Besides digital library we are going to buy small on shelf library of all professional book in Project Management and related disciplines.
